Galen Trinkle

Owner and principal cameraman of Kintyre Media, Galen Trinkle, has spent over a quarter of a century behind a camera achieving the kind of success and respect that only those at the very top of their craft attain. If you watch TV, you’ve seen his work. He has shot for all the major networks and most of the cable networks. Network news, magazine shows like 20/20, Dateline and 60 Minutes, documentary, sports, entertainment, his credits read like pages from TV Guide. As it was for many of us the events of 9/11 and their aftermath proved a profound turning point for Galen. Grueling days of round the clock coverage from the World Trade Center took their toll. With nothing left to prove he decided to make New Hampshire his Land’s End and turn his camera towards those things that celebrate the best moments in life. Galen still shoots with his national clients but he now also enjoys working with local businesses developing local programs for Cheshire Tv and totally enjoys teaching digital film classes with high school students and adults. He lives in Stoddard with his wife, Phoebe, and their two dogs, Bailey and Cooper.
